3F review

THREE FORTUNES IN ONE COOKIE is reveiwed in the October edition of The Independent Gay Writer. In her review, Betty Conley says 3F has “a well thought out, intricate plot, replete with richly developed characters, and a warm, interesting location…an easy flowing read, never mired down in unnecessary detail…including some valuable life lessons, making Three Fortunes in One Cookie an educational experience, as well as a wonderfully enjoyable read. A very highly recommended book.”

Have I mentioned that we adore Betty Conley?

That’s wonderful!! Congrats to the writing team.

I can’t wait for my copy to arrive. I hope the people downstairs don’t steal it.

    JR.

  2. I’ll second Betty Conley’s comments…..I finished reading 3F for the second time last night because of those “richly developed characters.” Phillip (and Kieran and Chad) stayed on my mind so much since the first read, that I had to go back and read it again. I’ve got to say its better the second time around. I was plowing through it so fast the first time to see what was going to happen, that I missed some of the nuances about the 4 quirky aunts. Hat’s off (again) to both of you for your best work yet!!

So Betty Conley thinks that knowing every southern home has a deviled egg plate is an “interesting, perhaps trivial, fact?” Hmmm….
